Telehealth

He was not an effective relationship counselor. He was ineffective at discovering and managing the underlying issues, ineffective at providing and monitoring sufficient strategies to improve relationship dynamics, ineffective at providing accountable strategies for re-structuring broken dynamics. He allowed one partner to avoid accountability, responsibility, dodge the truth, and was unable to show the discernment to either diagnose or treat severe and debilitating delusional behaviors he was presented with and made aware of repeatedly. I like Marcos as a person, but I think he did more harm than good as a therapist. He seemed to lack the insight to push back effectively and ended up enabling emotionally unstable behavior patterns. His failures influenced real suffering, I wish I had been matched with a different provider.I expect telehealth psychotherapy is a difficult job, but Marcos Villareal failed to provide adequate counseling services to meet the needs of his clients.
