I like Marjorie. I've seen her for a handful of sessions now but, so far, I'm happy with the progress I've made. Her approach is different than other therapists I've previously seen. She approaches our sessions with respect to both my feelings and thoughts. I like that she incorporates a variety of strategies and formats in our sessions. She is well-informed about different types of therapies, even the newer ones, and doesn't stick to the typical "talk therapy" as most therapists tend to do. This is something I really like about her. In my experience, her style is not purely "emotion-based talk therapy" so if that's what you're looking for, she might not be the right therapist for you. Personally, I'm thankful I was referred to her.

Not empathetic, interrupts with her assumptions before I can explain what I want to say. Impatient and judgmental. Doesn't seem to take me seriously even though I am distressed.
