absolutely the best PA ive ever had
Gentle, kind, extremely thorough. my condition is very complicated. he followed every hint of a problem. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions and concerns. He referred to a specialist for some more tests. I felt he was more thorough than any doctors i've ever see...and that includes specialists. Great Dignostician. I wish I could see him as my regular doc but he just does ER work.

Disappointing he’s part of Emerson
Mark is very personable with patients and during my ED visit he was great at first. Unfortunately, once I began asking questions about my condition, it seemed he got upset. He left the room and did not come back to clarify my doubts. I definitely did not feel heard as a patient. It felt like they were trying to just get me to leave so they could bring in the next patient. It’s either a hit or miss at Emerson and this experience was definitely a miss.

The best PA I have ever had!!!!
I came into the ER with an obvious concussion after a MVA, and Mark was absolutely amazing. He made me feel calm and collected in this time of stress and I can not thank him enough for showing me the immense amount of kindness that day. He was so genuine and made you feel as though your issues were heard and not dismissed. He also spoke in such a warm tone that makes him that much more personable. Definitely recommend him especially when people are in more distress than I was that day!
