Very good experience, with Dr. Miranda Cannon and Market Optical staff. Ordered glasses and contacts, haven't yet received the glasses so cannot comment on those yet but the check-up experience was very good, and the trial set of contacts are working out great so far. Cost of exam was discussed up front as well as the fact that they do not accept my insurance (this was also very clear on the website when you book appointment, so no surprise, thought it was good that they went the extra step to confirm). Felt like the exam was very thorough. No pressure to purchase any products directly from Market Optical.

I really recommend Dr. Mark Cannon! I needed a new regular eye exam since it had been two years since my cataract surgery, and my ophthalmologist was only seeing me for glaucoma treatment. I got to Mark's Pike Place location a little early, and as soon as I got the initial paperwork done, he saw me - doing all the testing and evaluation himself. In addition to getting me a new prescription that has really been a great improvement, he removed some blocked fluid from an eyelid, and gave me some hints about maintaining good eye health that I had never heard before. Personal note: Mark and Miranda are my really great next-door neighbors!

I've been to Dr. Cannon twice now and each time have been so glad he's my optometrist. He is kind, clear in his explanations, thoughtful, is thorough without doing lots of extra tests.

I had an excellent appointment with Dr. Mark Cannon today! I went in for a lazy eye detection/treatment. He diagnosed my condition, and also checked out my eye in general for any thing else. He gave me options for therapy and glasses. And answered all my (possibly naive) questions about whether I may go blind eventually from my condition etc. I loved that he was honest about how a surgery might do me harm. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. He even stayed late to fax my referral.

Both Dr. Mark and Miranda Cannon make my annual eye exam and lens evaluations pleasant. They are thorough and do not rush through the appointment like you are a number. Check out some great designer frames at Market Optical in the same building while there. Everyone there is friendly.
