Mark Damberg, PA-C

I had heart symptoms, and he helped me get the quick cardiology referral I needed and gave me a prescription that lessened my chance of a heart attack (probably a thinner, I don't remember). Turns out I needed a stent, so you could say he saved my life, but maybe those accolades should go to Cardiology...but Mark was great too.

Rushed through the appointment. Didn't bother to understand the actual problem. Prescribed some medicine which didn't worked at all. I visited another provider.

My appointment was 45 minutes late. This is 100% understandable since he'd been held up in an earlier appointment. What was unacceptable was his dismissive/condescending attitude. It was clear that I was the last appointment of the day and he just wanted to go home. Glad he wasn't my primary who is excellent but not available that day.

Had Mark as my primary care physician for a few years (has moved), always had time to discuss issues and follow up on requests.

I have been a patient of Mark Damberg for many years. I am sad to see him go from UW. He listened and trusted me to know what was going on with my body. He did not disregard my feelings. I hope hd will pratice somewhere near.

Had a great experience with Mark. I am new to the area and was establishing care. Mark listened, answered my questions, and clearly was trying to build rapport and make me feel welcome and comfortable. He was quick to process my test results and follow up through UW's online tool. Very happy with my initial experience with Mark and UW Medicine.

I had a very bad experience with Mark Damberg. He did not listen to exactly what I was complaining about and tried to treat me for something I knew was not the issue. When I checked his notes in the portal he got many of details wrong. I brought up my issue to the management at the UW clinic and the said they would get back to me but never did. I had to got to another DR for treatment.

Ordered unecessary tests and performed a "forced" physical even though I didn't request one and said I didn't want or need one (I had one from my retired doctor months before and the records were transferred). NOT a good feeling (bed side manner) from the under educated Damberg (MD's are more professional/knowledgable). I will not go anywhere UW medical facilities as the practice management was zero help in resolving any issues that I had. Steer clear of this as an option for proper care.

Very thorough and truly cares. He LISTENS which is what I have found lacking in previous providers
