Dr. Mark Goddard, OD

My son broke the frame on his glasses. I called the office to see if A. they could see him and B. if they took his new insurance. They tried to put the glasses through a warranty claim on the previous insurance company; however, they wouldn't accept it since we were no longer using that insurance. Dr. Goddard does not accept the new insurance, but, what he and Angela did do for us was awesome! They had the exact frames in the office, and they gave me a heck of a deal to help us out with the out-of-pocket cost. I will always recommend this office!!

During the Coronavirus small business freeze / stay at home period, I got something lodged in my right eye that had me in tremendous pain. Although Dr. Goddard was not open for business, he called me back from his home and analyzed my situation by phone. He instructed me and my wife on what we could do to try to resolve the situation at home to avoid emergency rooms and urgent cares at this time. The guidance he provided worked. He then called in antibiotic drops the next morning and followed up with me within a few days. This the greatest example of gold standard care by a physician.

I tried Lenscrafters and Pearle Vision and was very disappointed. I Googled Optometrists in the Exton, Downingtown area. Mark Goddard, O.D. received majority favorable reviews. I tried him out. Friendly, professional,good eyecare skills, reasonable. His wife is his office manager. She is very helpful and pleasant. I would return for sure. Try them you'll see what I mean.

We just moved into the area. My neighbor gave me Dr. Goddard's name for eye care. My wife and I went to GoddardFamilyEyecare and we were both very satisfied. Not easy finding an office that works , this place is five stars. You won't be disappointed.

This office is great. Friendly, professional and honest. I don't think you will find a better eyecare place than this. My family and I have been to other offices over the years and this place is better. They spend time with you and really care that you are satisfied.

Had an eye examination today and everything went very well. The experience was very good. Dr. Goddard and his office manager Angela were very good about helping me. They were friendly and knowledgeable ,I never felt rushed. I would recommend his Optometric office to everyone.

My 1st experience was ok yet when I ordered contacts and my insurance covered them, I received sample boxes. Not sure samples are to be used when insurance co. is charged. My most recent visit was a nightmare. My son & I had back-to-back appts. and due to a fire drill we were 7 minutes late. The Dr. said he could only see 1 of us & he was acting as office manager, receptionist and Eye Dr. He then said his wife couldn’t find insurance. A call beforehand would have been nice.. Unprofessional
