Had a session here with my emotionally abusive husband and left frustrated with no issues resolved and some worsened. Mark has no experience with narcissists or talking with victims of domestic abuse. He was extremely dismissive of my examples of my husband’s controlling, manipulative, harmful behavior such as blocking my devices from home internet, recording me without consent and barring all guests from the house and constantly using our daughter as a pawn to hurt me. He has serious substance abuse with alcohol and marijuana and Mark also waved that aside. When it became heated in the room because my husband clearly denied doing something that he did, Mark told me to calm down and kept repeating okay, okay and never addressing my concerns. I’m worried about my daughter and Mark seems more worried about getting us to add additional sessions and working with him down the road. He does not take insurance and charges $300 an hour. Absolutely do not recommend him.

Purely focused on money, fees, billable hours. More concerned with cash payments than safety of my child. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Kudos to Dr. Lovinger on his professionalism and knowledge during our recent visits. Scheduling appointments can be daunting when you are a fragmented family - each with their own schedules that never seem to coincide. Yet, Dr, Lovinger accommodated us, even taking time to see us on weekends if he had to. Even more amazing was his insight into our crazy family dynamics, and like a skilled surgeon, he cut through the "nonsense", helping us to get our parenting & schedules in order.

Dr. Lovinger was one of the few mental health professionals who diagnosed our son accurately and treated him with compassion and care as opposed to many others who were dismissive of us. He walked us through many difficult times and we always knew that we could count on him. We would not have gotten through many of our transitions and challenges without his help.

During one of the hardest times for my family, Dr.Lovinger showed great compassion and went the extra mile for us. He got me and my ex to realize that our children's well being was the most important thing and to come to an agreement that worked out best for us all considering the circumstances.
