Review for Mayo Clinic Health System - Red Wing, MNMy visit to Mayo Clinic Health System in Red Wing was extremely disappointing and left me feeling dismissed. When I told my provider about a separate, more serious condition and said I didn’t want additional medication, she became defensive and aggressive, saying, “I just inform you of options, and if you choose not to take my professional advice, that’s up to you.” It felt like she took it personally. I tried explaining my reasoning, but she launched into what sounded like rehearsed statements, using medical acronyms I didn’t understand. When I repeatedly asked for clarification, she gave curt answers, naming the acronyms without explaining them. As I was still trying to understand, she abruptly said, “We are done here,” and walked out, leaving me with no chance to ask questions. Frustrated, I asked the first staff member I saw upon exiting, “Who is in charge here?” They told me “Teresa” was in charge. I requested to speak with her,
