Experience with Dr. Smith
Telehealth
I have been seeing Dr. Smith for many years in person and via telehealth and she has helped me so much throughout various events in my life. I feel like she truly has my best interests in mind and has helped me develop communication strategies, helped me get through SA ptsd, interpersonal relationships, and so many other things. I am very grateful for her and as a survivor of assault I can personally say that she helped me so much and was not judgemental or critical of me while I was at my lowest.

Absolutely horrible. I was a victim of childhood sexual abuse and went to her in the midst of the resulting feelings of guilt and doubting oneself that go along with processing such events. She was judgmental, shamed me for my coping mechanisms and told me that she didn't believe I was abused. Marla is a horrendous therapist that traumatized me even further during a very difficult time. Someone should take her PhD away. Definitely in it for the money.
