Mary Alice Saporito, NP

I have been seeing MaryAlice for many years. I trust her care. She has always had the knowledge and experience to address my needs and provide explanations and options. She promptly posts and responds to my portal messages.

I’ve seen Maryalice twice. The first time was about 5-6 years ago. I get pretty anxious with doctors apts. When it was time for my internal exam- she told me “if you’re sexually active this isn’t a big deal.” Next time I was in my second trimester, she dismissed my questions, cut me off, and was extremely aggressive . Her bedside manner was appalling. I’m a first time mom, and have never felt more invalidated leaving an apt. I left both apts in tears. Please do not see her especially with younger girls or when you are pregnant.

Shocked this woman still has a job. Rude and insensitive, dismissive of all my concerns. Took me 48 hours to reach her over the phone. When I reached her she acted like I was BOTHERING her and hung up while I was mid sentence. Cannot believe someone like this is trusted with women’s health.

She is rude and has a horrible bedside manner. I'm 38 and was pregnant. I had never met her before, so I didn't know what to expect. She walked into the room, said, "I hear you're pregnant. Do you want to be?" Who says that? She was judgmental about my age and very cold in delivering the news of my miscarriage over the phone a few weeks later. I don't want to see her ever again.

No star is a better option! Rude, condescending, arrogant..... Making my daughter feel frightened and almost in tears....as well as demanding flu shot to be given even against the will of the patient as well as not explaining anything nor the fact that she needed to schedule an ultrasound herself. Never again. Shame on Summit Medical for this person to be there in this role.....scary.

Mary Alice Saporito needs to retire from this field...and retire NOW!!! My daughter left her office today in tears. Her bedside manner is just the worst; she asked multiple unnecessary questions, she was condescending, she was rude, and was no help whatsoever taking care of my daughter’s needs. After so many years of this unacceptable behavior (a plethora of similar complaints), how does this woman still have her position at SMG? This needs to be addressed.

Went in for my first appt for pregnancy. I brought my sister in for support (my husband was working) I had been going to RMA for assistance in getting pregnant. When I told her that she immediately became annoyed by me. She was crude, condescending, dismissive and treated me like an idiot. I immediately ended the appt without an actually physical exam. My sister (also pregnant, she lives out of state) was horrified by this woman. I left the office crying and plan to never return. Be very weary.

I have been seeing Mary Alice for years and would highly recommend her as a Nurse Practitioner.

I met with her about what I suspected was a disease even though my symptoms had subsided (probably due to getting my cycle) and was rudely asked why I was there if I no longer had symptoms. Since I was already there I made her do tests and was later informed I did have a infection that could have gotten worse without treatment but easily curable. Mary Alice was rude and condescending and I have a friend that feels the same way. Anytime there is an appointment with her I decline.

Very nice NP. Was able to get an urgent appointment the same day. She made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns.

I have been going to Summit Medical my whole life and have never had a bad experience but Mary Alice's bedside manner is HORRIBLE. I waited 25 minutes for a less than 5 minute appt. The nurse was careless and asked me the same questions I had already filled out on my pre-exam forms, then Dr. Saporito came in, and didn't listen to anything I had to say before telling me I need to go see yet another doctor. Not to mention, she was so rude that I left the office in tears. I won't be returning.
