I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Mary shortly after I had a brain injury. She is compassionate, encouraging, and very understanding. She came up with a therapy plan and helped me through a tough journey. She also referred me to other top-notch specialists that I needed for recovery – which are hard to find. Her understanding and ability to explain brain injuries are incredible. She took me from barely being able to leave my house to being back at work full time with therapy. My neurologist (at the time) was unable/unwilling to work with my insurance after a period of time. I was not going to get my short-term disability. Dr. Mary is the one who helped me with my appeal and got the insurance denial overturned. I really can't say enough good things about Dr Finck. I came to Mary with a severe/extreme concussion TBI, after having seen 3 other neurologists which was the result of an auto accident 18 months ago. I was no longer improving and my diagnoses was not good. I was having trouble sleeping, focusing, couldn't work more than a couple hours a day without headaches, couldn't ride a mtn bike anymore, etc. I had seen cognitive therapists, dr's, neuro's etc. Mary was incredibly patient, understanding and designed a custom brain training recovery program that was difficult and progressive. I have had amazing improvement in 3 months. I can work more than a half day now and even if I get headaches I can recover and work again. Mary Finck DPT was the light at the end of my brain injury tunnel. After having a TBI I saw many different doctors and therapist. All of which were quite interchangeable with the exception of Mary. Mary not only treated my TBI injury but she also helped to assure I had created the right team for treatment. She is kind, patient, intelligent and an expert in her field. Mary catered all treatment specifically to my needs. I would travel hours to be treated by Mary, there is no one quite like her.

I have been suffering from vertigo for over 12 years with numerous attempts to get rid of it. I was finally referred to Mary Finck DPT, at Ability Therapy. After about a month she was able to clear calcium crystals in my anterior semicircular canal. Only about 2% of people afflicted with Vertigo have this specific problem. There was an immediate improvement. Mary helped me where specialists I visited over a 12 year period could not.
