Dr. Matthew Bashover, OD

I was very pleased with the service I received from Dr Bashover. And the lovely girl at the front desk, Ayumi was very nice and professional!

Of the 75 minutes I was there I spent maybe 15 min with the dr and 60 min waiting despite no other patients. Felt like he kept trying to trick me into saying I couldn’t see with my glasses in attempt to sell me glasses. Without asking me tried to change my contact lenses (all I needed was an updated prescription so I could reorder) because he didn’t have my lenses. Super argumentative with me when I didn’t want to change. His ego is over the top “well you’ve been seen a dr as good as me”.

I wanted to say thank you to Dr. Matthew Bashover and the wonderful staff at Accent Eyecare. I happened upon this place by driving by and seeing the storefront. From the first moment, I set foot in the place, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Bashover is incredibly knowledgable. After a thorough examination, he took a lot of time in explaining his findings and recommendations for me. As a healthcare provider myself, I know that it is exceedingly rare for someone to take the time to provide such a thorough examination and detailed explanation. I was very confident in his experience and recommendations and will be returning to see him for further examination and prescriptions. A special thank you to Logan and Yumi. Logan was brand new to the practice and did a great job. Yumi provided detailed information about the costs associated with the visit and was very thorough. Your eyes will be in great hands with Dr. Bashover and Accent Eyecare.

The new front desk staff is rude.

Dr. Bashover is honestly the best eye doctor I have ever SEEN (no pun intended). No, but seriously he did a great job with my prescription, I see much clearer than I did before. He was very thorough and addressed all my concerns appropriately. The ladies up front were very nice and helpful when picking out my glasses. I would highly recommend Dr. Bashover, I will definitely be back next year!

Awful behavior from Dr. Bashover. We are not recommending Accent eye care; we took our business to Arlington Vision Source instead. Friendly and available.
