HE IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST PCP I HAVE EVER HAD! He didn't even listen to my symptoms, just kept cutting me off, said half the meds I was taking I should just stop taking (mind you his office was the one who prescribed me them), and this is without even asking me why I've been taking these medications. He was rude, he was unprofessional, he IS AWFUL. If you think I'm exaggerating, by all means go see for yourself. I recently switched to Golden Valley Health Care. Best decision I ever made. I can't believe I was complacent for as long as I was thinking maybe it was a fluke a few times. I thought, everyone has bad days so I'll give him another chance. Well his chances are up. He still sucks and he's only got worse during this pandemic. If you choose to go to him, good luck and God speed. P.S. - I only gave him a 1 star because they wouldn't let me give him 0.

He's absolutely HORRIBLE! He didn't listen to my symptoms at all, told me half the meds I was taking, I shouldn't, without even asking about anything, at all! And the nurse practitioner at their office was the one who prescribed them. Told me I couldn't get blood work done even though it's been two years plus since I've had blood work done AND I have symptoms of colon cancer. Told me the anxiety of meds that they prescribed me weren't even anxiety meds at all they're sleeping meds. and then he said oh I'm going to prescribe you anxiety medication that's what he did to just kind of maybe like not want to hear my symptoms anymore and then guess what happened he said oh it'll be ready in two hours so I gave him two hours called my pharmacy they said we haven't got the meds yet okay they haven't got it in called two hours later they still didn't get it in the full never did it he's a lying sack of s***

i allways have came to aspen my entire life. i have allways recieved great care, and matt has allways been correct with treating me and my problems. i have sent many of my friends to aspen..

He was quick to contact me in regards to my appointment via telephone (since Covid started). He Is very kind and makes sure his patients are taken care of.

Dr. Freitas is a great doctor. He takes the time to talk with me, always answers my questions, treats me like a person, is kind and understanding of my pre-existing conditions . I appreciate him and his staff. I will recommend him to my family and friends .

He spends less then 5 mins with you and try's to leave asap. Did tests on me and after the tests come back saying something was wrong he says oh the tests are wrong and doesn't want to retest. His staff is rude and give you the run around.

This doctor asked very few questions and disputed my past diagnoses by my old doctor and psychiatrist who had helped me over the past several years. He asked me one question and then he said the diagnosis for my mood disorder was wrong. One question vs years of treatment that has helped me tremendously. That's a no-brainier. My insurance changed so I was assigned this doctor as my PCP by the new insurance. Very dissatisfied and frustrated by the way I was treated.
