Patient and likeable
I still have a ways to go on working on my problems but have high hopes Matt can help me find my way. I was impressed how carefully he explained upfront his philosophy/approach to counseling, so I would know his style in sessions.

Compassionate and patient counselor. Still early in ongoing sessions with Matt, but am comfortable with his approach. While he may have his ideas or plans about the direction a session should take, he listens carefully and lets patient determine focus of a session if I need to talk about something in particular.

Probably the worst mental health counselor on the face of the earth. If you are in Iowa and are looking for help, look for someone else. Very arrogant and spiteful person. Stay far, far away! He has no clue what he's doing. No idea how he was able to get his license to practice in Iowa.
