Horrible experience. Matt charges $150 for an intake. He seemed normal during the 15-min free consult (probably to lure you in). he asked me before we got off of consult if there were any topics that were off-limits and I told him it was my separation from my husband. During the intake appt, he brought it up! I told him I was uncomfortable talking about it, but he forced me to, anyway. He wouldn’t stop, he just kept on asking for details. I am infuriated I wasted $150 for someone to disrespect me and show their true colors once they know they’re getting paid. I make $80 every other week. That money is not much and to know I wasted on someone who doesn’t respect me, makes me sick to my stomach. I told him how I felt about it afterward (I sent an email), and he wrote back an email taking no responsibility. Also, during the appt, he got close to the screen and yelled “WHY?!” and it shocked me. I wasn’t answering correctly, I guess. He said he was being playful, but he doesn’t know me.

I went through 5 therapists before Matt, and I'm so glad I did. Incredibly smart and able to seamlessly apply both theory and application. His ability to know when to be gentle or firm, quiet or challenging, is really amazing. The amount of personal growth and challenge I've been able to maintain over the last year is unprecedented for me.
