Maureen Bond, LMFT

I saw this therapist for ten years for PTSD/dissociation, where she used a specialized method of treatment called incorporation therapy. The treatment was expensive, you had to pay out of pocket, it wasn’t affective, and she claimed that I had repressed memories and treated me for them. While my past was troubling without a doubt, her treatment method is ineffective and delusional. The best thing I did for myself was leave her practice after ten years, and I should have done it sooner. Worst therapist I ever had, and she should be investigated for her practice methods.

Having been a client of Ms Bond since 2002, I can certainly comment with some authority, that her method of treatment is quite consistent with standard procedures. She is quite cautious and very thoughtful in her approach to whatever issues the client might be experiencing. In order for treatment to be successful, the client must also be an active participant and family members who are involved in providing support must also be thoroughly briefed as to the various methods of treatment.

No communication, doesn't seem to care, or thinks she is above previous therapists opinions, practices hypnotism and implanting false memories, defies court orders and destroys families. Shame on you! You are a monster.

Ms. Bond is in my opinion a quack. Ms. Bond took my daughter as a patient, ignored the two previous court-appointed therapists who had diagnosed my daughter, and proceeded to hypnotize her, claiming to have uncovered "repressed memories" of trauma. Bond has never heard of Dr. Elizabeth Loftus (among others) author of the seminal 1991 book "Myth of Repressed Memories.' The damage to my daughter's psyche is incalculable. Bond is a quack: her license should be suspended.
