Megan Scharett, LMHC

I came to Megan when I found myself surprise pregnant and was not dealing with the hormones and emotions very well. She gave me the tools I needed to get through a rough time (which ended up even rougher because of a super early delivery!) and then how to get through the first two years of life with an infant. My marriage is stronger because Megan helps give me tools to improve it individually, and honestly I don't know how I would have gotten through the past 3 years without her to help guide me and talk through the things I was dealing with.She's empathetic, encouraging, open minded, and always a great listener. She definitely challenges you to think outside the box, and also keeps you grounded. Also, scheduling is SUPER easy, and you always get reminders to your phone as well as emails when an appointment is.

I been with Megan for a few years now ( on and off) and I absolutely love her! She listens and lets me express myself! I feel safe and able to talk freely. She also looks for solutions to my issues without being too pushy! I tried others and no one absolutely no one is like Megan!

She was great. Never had a problem and I feel that after a few years of services through her that things are much better for me and my wife.

STAY AWAY!!! JUST SAVED YOU SO MUCH $$$s, time, and energy. Megan is an impractical and incapable couple/marriage/family psychologist you’d ever meet. She works by the book and has NO ability to adapt her approach to the client. She is unable to discuss any concrete problems, provide NO guidance for those, and become even more rigid and offensive when asked to. She took the si of one of us and imposed her opinion against the other. After merely 7 sessions she said she has no more tools for us. She took each one of us alone and lied that the other one said he/she does not like you or even does not to be with you. She further told each one we need to separate and tried to force her option on us to divorce. We provided her with feedback on her practice, but she was unable to accept it and instead became defensive, then offensive and blaming. Her practice is to regularly not meet the clients in person (regardless of the pandemic) yet she’s ineffective and misinterprets at video conference.

For the past few year Dr. Scharett has worked with my family as whole and individually. She is caring and great with kids.
