I see Dr Dershowitz every 3 months and he is right on top of my needs , I would recommend him to anyone who needs his specialty

This guy does NOT help you with anything. I had abnormal labs showing a serious problem (which actually had previous evidence) and he wasn't even go to say ANYTHING. The only reason he said anything was because I printed the labs before and asked and he told me t TO DO NOTHING. Meanwhile, he knows nothing about my activity levels or diet, which are imperative when treating diabetes. He also never checks for neuropathy, which is no effort on his part at all. The guy is LAZY and it is at the expense of patients' health. He is actually shortening peoples' lives with this behaviour. Nonetheless, I am DONE with this. I stayed with this practitioner too long an think it may have causes me a serious (hopefully not irreversible problem.) I also found mistakes on medical report, basically diagnoses which were not based on any lab results. You don't write a type of specific disease if the disease is 'unspecified' because you never did lab tests to confirm it. This guy should not be allowed to practice medicine. His actions are harmful and dangerous. I think he is just there to collect a paycheck.

This guy, while friendly, does nothing to help you. Diabetes is a serious, life threatening illness and all he ever says is ‘you’re doing great” (My average blood sugar was 180. This is dangerous and terrible.) He does nothing to pinpoint patterns and patient problems based on their lifestyle. He never asks about your daily activities, what you ate, etc. If you don’t understand someone’s lifestyle, you have no idea what is going on with their diabetes. But I don’t think he cares. Afterall, he’s not gonna. be the one that dies due to his disregard, the patient is.

I had a horrible experience with this provider. He was not attentive or concerns with any of my issues at all. I’ve been having underlying health issues that lead to weight gain over the last few years. This is the exact reason why i went for a consult with a specialist. He basically did nothing but stated in a nicer way that i just put on excessive weight and should treat my issue with gastric bi pass or injections to help loose weight with out even checking my hormone levels. I WILL NOT BE SEEING THIS PROVIDER AGAIN!!

Always listens to my issues, always willing to let me try different courses of treatments for issues. Explains everything to make sure I understand. Front staff needs personality training but that’s not his area, won’t hold that against him

I've had type 1 diabetes for 35 years, and been to a fair share of doctors. Dr. Meir Dershowitz is a Blessing to have because He is patient, kind, understanding, and giving. I appreciate His service and recommend Him highly!

horrible PA and doesnot even deserve the honor of being a doctor. So careless and poor communication skills with patients . So unfriendly to patients in a way that made me uncomfortable to further ask any questions. I will never choose to see him again !

I saw Dr Dershowitz because I had very low blood pressure and other symptoms for over a month. He looked at my lab results, said everything is fine, and was ready to send me on my way. I mentioned los blood pressure but he said as long as I don’t get dizzy it’s no problem. Was again ready to send me on my way. Explained other symptoms, he said it’s not endocrine and I should see a cardiologist. A complete waste of time and money to get no diagnosis and no concern or care from the doctor.

First time seeing Dr. D. He was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my concerns. Put me at ease because I get nervous going to the dr.

Worst doctor ever. After waiting for over an hr, he finally brought me to his office where he was leaning/resting his head with one hand and with the other hand he was typing my answers to the questions he was making. He typed with one finger, kept yawning, didn't really care for how I felt. I told him the mg of medicine I was taking, but he wanted to give me higher. Completely careless, no care for the patients.

Meir Dershowitz He is calm , attentive and listens. He gave me his full attention, great advice and never makes me feel hurried or nervous. He's absolutely professional and courteous
