Melanie Froemke, LGSW

I saw Melanie for multiple years and feel she is a great therapist overall. She's skilled in many different approaches and is dedicated to helping her clients. I learned a lot of important and transformative things about myself. There were also moments when she went above and beyond to help me and those close to me. Her demeanor is very professional. For me, this was good in that I never conflated therapy with a gab session but bad in that she lacked warmth at times and there were topics I never felt comfortable discussing with her. Unfortunately, I had many logistical issues throughout my time as her client. They involved being overcharged and falsely charged. She changed her status with my insurance without informing me that led to a significant increase in out of pocket costs. I also had multiple scheduling issues. And the end of my care was messier than it should've been. All in all, I'm grateful for her care but would not return to her if or when I seek therapy again.
