Melanie Scott, PA-C

Ms. Scott is not an MD, she is a nurse practitioner with the ego of a cardiologist. I am in the process of finding a new provider. She has a horrible bedside manner, and is unprofessional and rude. I've seen her 5 times and have come to the conclusion that she does not have a sympathetic or empathetic bone in her body. Be prepared for her to try to charge as much as she can to your insurance, and refer you for as many sleep studies and medical tests as she can. If I were a more direct person and not as much of a push over, I would have walked out of my last physical. She was that rude to a patient who was not being combative or argumentative at all. I really wish I would've recorded how she spoke to me on our last visit, unbelievable for someone to act that way when you are paying them for a service. My solace is, I know my new doctor cannot possibly be any worse!

This woman is rude and gaslighted me! If I wasn’t a stronger person, I would’ve walked out in tears! She did nothing but refer me to specialists and try to force new meds on me! Also, she is NOT a Dr.

Dr. Scott is awesome, she is very professional and caring . She listens and very attentive.

Melanie is amazing and if she moves I will definitely follow her to her new location!! She is the first doctor to believe me and find a cause for my condition. It has been 20 years!

Melanie Scott is a fantastic provider who takes the time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and work to find the best course of action. I feel like I can be myself around her without judgment, and that’s something that I really appreciate. I wouldn’t see anyone else but her due to the trust I have in her.

I have not had a doctor like this in years . She ask questions I did not feel rushed she actual cares and it shows . As long as she is in the medical field and she will take my insurance I am not going anywhere

Dr Melanie Scott is probably my favorite doctor I've been too. She doesn't lack social skills like some doctors do and speaks clearly how she would be speaking to a friend or family member. Really explains it and is straight up with you without confusing you with medical terminology. Great doctor to go with I highly recommend!

With today’s technology, it would be nice to have some sort of texting or email service to let patients know how the provider’s schedule is proceeding, so patients didn’t have to sit in the room for an hour until seeing the provider. Just a thought. I realize that it is usually patients that cause the schedule delays. I just wish there was a way to inform patients that the schedules were either on-time or running late. There should be a way to do this with modern technology.

Once again my first time seeing Melanie was very positive and I will definitely see her again.

So far my (2nd time) experience is good

Came in as a hospital follow up. She reviewed the charts, and helped establish the next steps. We also got my TDAP vaccine administered and my prescriptions renewed which saved me hundreds of dollars.

Dr Mel summed up my situation and gave me the right direction to follow in future years

She’s very personable a lot more than my last doctor. she’s genuinely concerned about how I’m doing besides just my health which is nice and I’m very comfortable around her so I feel I can tell her anything about my health that I’m concerned about

She makes me feel that she really cares about me and my health. I trust her 100%
