If you can choose, select Dr. Hammond. She, along with the entire staff has taken the best care of my eyes. Thanks for improving my eyesight beyond my wildest dreams. I can honestly say I am living safer and better thanks to Dr. Hammond and her team.

Dr.Hammonds does not deserve a name Doctor!!!! I came to see her referred by retina specialist who noticed an inflammation on my operated eye. Because of the inflammation he started me on Prednisolone eye drops and recommended me to check the pressure in my eye very often because I have severe case of Glaucoma.Retina specialist was in Fort Maers - 1 1/2 hrs driving from Sarasota. Dr. Hammond missed inflammation in my eye and refused to see me even when I came to the office. I was unable to make an appointment with her and neither with the dr. Kim who did a surgery. Appointments were made in a month with dr. Hammond and in 2 months with dr.Kim. This is only because the girl who did a schedule was extremely nice. I am an MD.myself and have more then 50 years experience as a doctor in my country and here in America. The main goal for a doctor is Do not make a harm. If I would know what can happen to me I would be blind.

I have been going to Dr Hammond for about 3 years now. She is always very thorough, pays attention to what other things I have going on medically and how they might correlate to my current vision issues. She takes my concerns seriously and has caught a few issues that might have gone unnoticed by a less attentive Dr. She is very proactive and I feel like she has her patients best interests at heart. I also love the staff! They are professional and courteous, but also friendly and make the whole process much more enjoyable.

Dr. Hammond is excellent, she is easy to communicate with and very kind. An excellent eye specialist that we have enjoyed being patients of for several years.

She is kind, personable and thorough. I enjoy my appointments with her. She explains things well also.
