Dr. Melissa Sansone is the Best!

I was very disappointed with Melissa Sansone. She was cold, insensitive, condescending and lacking in empathy and compassion. She acted like she was inconvenienced by me being there. I’m surprised she doesn’t realize when she is dealing with people’s faces how sensitive an issue that can be for them. She’s also not a good listener, as more than once I had to repeat what I had just said because - based on her responses - she wasn’t paying attention. I asked her about very common procedures that have been around for decades, and she wasn’t familiar with them - even though the website for the facility where she works says they perform those procedures. And, she uses more upspeak at the end of her sentences than I would expect from a middle aged person. She left me with such a bad feeling about her and her competency that I decided not to pursue treatments there.

I've had similar procedures done many times over the years, this was by far the best and most efficient care I've ever received.

The facilities staff members were unfriendly and non- hospitable. The doctor was not very informative and did not provide any doctoral information. The prescription given was not considered to be covered by my insurance. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Melissa did an excellent job checking on a recurrent skin rash (benign) and also did a careful full-body skin check. She is very experienced, confident, and put me at ease as a patient. I felt I was in very good hands and would certainly return for future visits.

Routine skin check

Melissa was one of the only people I have seen for my skin issues who sat with me for more than 30 seconds to discuss. She sat and listened to what I had to say and my concerns and talked to me about options and what was going on. She looked at my skin for longer than any other derm I've seen. I didn’t feel rushed out the door or as if she was putting me off. She will be who I continue to see. She is very personable. Everyone in the office from when you call to schedule to when you walk I the door was very nice.
