Very professional, dedicated and works with the patient AND the family as if we're a TEAM. Keeping everyone informed and up to date when every minute, hour is critical. Melissa is an honest, kind hearted person who we knew could trust. She shares knowledge, expectations based on her background, education and experiences. Delivers good and bad news like a true professional. you can really tell she CARES for everyone involved! Chemo unfortunately didn't help my families situation. But knowing we were in great care will help me find comfort for the rest of my life. Thank you to the entire team at ThedaCare Appleton and thank you Melissa Smits for your hard work and dedication! It truly didn't go unnoticed. May god bless you and everyone that does the work that you do.
