professional, friendly, and thorough
Because of the family turmoil, my son was not doing well in school before seeing Dr. Fortenberry. Dr. Fortenberry is very professional, friendly, and a good listener. She has 40+ years of experience. She provided different tools during my son's play therapy that helped my son to overcome his difficulty. My son immediately built a connection with her and was looking forward to the therapy sessions with Dr. Fortenberry. After a few months, my son has improved a lot and is doing well in school. The office environment is very comforting and relaxing too.

She was very thorough in understanding what was going on in our family and then giving us the tools for working through our issues. She helped our daughter to manage her anxiety and to feel more confident in school.
