The most incompetent and inhumane therapist I have ever worked with, and there have been many. She provides no empathy for clients, judges clients harshly, and completely abandons clients if they relapse with no transition plan for aftercare. I also felt judged not only on my addiction but also my personal life. I would STRONGLY discourage LGBTQ+ individuals from working with her, as she is clueless to our needs. Addiction therapy should be a space where individuals can be accepted for who they are, shortcomings and all. Instead, I felt consistently judged, shamed and infantilized; my current provider has advised me to file a complaint with the state. “abstinence-only” 12 Step cult, ZERO The most incompetent and inhumane therapist I have ever worked with, and there have been many.
