Incredible demeanor. I saw Dr. Alexander for over 2 years and the work I did with him was life changing. This after seeing another doctor previously who was little or the opposite of helpful. Forever thankful for his skill and help.

Friendly and warm demeanor. I found him fairly welcoming and well-meaning. However, I was shocked at the ridiculousness of some of his psychological methods. For example, "thought stopping" or, even more bizarre, putting sticky notes up all around your room. Are these even valid CBT techniques ? The potential destructiveness of this to patients who are mentally ill cannot be understated. Please , Brush up on your techniques.
