Am I happy I stuck to my guns and did not keep my schedule with this person!! As I'm making the insisted with the scheduler, she says that he does an optional test that insurance doesn't cover that is $500 out of pocket. Then he later calls me and says he wants to do an academic assessment of my child, who is not struggling academically, and I would have to pay out of pocket. I tell him my son isn't struggling in that area, he insisted on us providing him proof of his academic assessment. Then he tells us it's going to be a while to provide us with his report after his evaluation, like weeks. We ended up finding a psychologist that worked better for us. She didn't seem like a money grab. He calls me two days before the appointment to confirm and I tell him I need to cancel (it's well before 24 hours before the appointment). He gets mad at me and hangs up on me. He comes off as money hungry and very rude. I'm happy and relieved we went elsewhere.
