Michael Coggin, AGPCNP-BC

I started seeing Coggin after multiple recommendations of how nice is and how he actually listens and cares for his patients. I was with multiple different providers before finding Mike and I will not change providers until he retires!I wasn't going to leave a review, but I had to after seeing the other reviews which I feel are disingenuous to who Michael Coggin is as a provider and as a person. He's listened to all my concerns, talked through my health history with me, and is working with me to be sure that I am on the right track to being the healthiest I can possibly be.I would recommend him again and again as a provider!

Not a car in the parking lot, not another person in the waiting room, yet I was kept waiting 45 minutes. I had less than five minutes with Michael Coggin in which he ran over my chart, renewed my prescription and was out the door. I had several significant concerns about recent health issues I was not given opportunity to address and was seeking a referral. He had little time for me after keeping me waiting for so long and had little concern for me, his patient.

Wish I had seen this review before a relative went. I concur with your statement. He doesn't listen, jumps to conclusions and plays the power card.

As a HCP myself, I’ve always said that the only time people comment online is if their experience landed on either pole of experience: great or horrible. So it’s difficult to gauge if someone’s oniline reviews are a true reflection of their abilities and competence or a display of extreme opinion. Having that said, I’m still leaving a negative review because it needs to be said: this provider was a harsh, demeaning, incompetent provider. He does a sincere disservice to the NP profession. Avoid.
