Dr. Michael Holifield, OD

I always have a great experience at Central Park Vision Center! I see Dr Holifield yearly for my contacts and glasses. I have been his patient for many, many years and I will never go anywhere else. Dr Holifield is very kind, gentle and smart! Most importantly, I trust him with my eyes. I recently experienced a change in my vision and went in to see him. He immediately diagnosed a retina problem and sent me to a retina specialist . All is well with my retinas now and I will never go anywhere else for my vision! They are my EYE family! Thank you all!

Disappointing and frustrating waste of time and money. Condescending. I had to pressure him into giving me the full eye exam that I paid for and needed. It came off as lazy. I had to schedule another appointment to come back to finish the dilation portion of the exam after I had already spent hours there. I was told the toric contact lenses fitting was 'close enough,' when I informed him that they moved every time I blinked. The office staff scratched my glasses when repairing them and didn't notify me, and then pretended that they were already scratched.

Highly recommend Dr. Holifield! Rare find in South FL. when it comes to the overall *quality of precision while checking eyes, genuine engagement and the overall experience. Def. takes his time during exam and couldn't be more transparent when it comes the status of your eyes inside/out in real time! Whether it's good or not so good, you're fully in the loop. Polar opposite of a clock watching (or just another #/patient) type of Dr. You don't leave there until he feels you got the full 411 about your status (whether it's a general exam, post Lasik surgery etc..) I went for 3 post op visits after the surgery and couldn't have been clearer about how I was doing, additional things I needed to do etc.. One of if not the best Optometrists and offices in the area! Insisted I call anytime if any issues were to arise. Again...rare down here.

Dr.Holifield Is terrific.His bedside manner is the best.He is quite unique in that he spends alot of time with each patient and does a more thorough exam than anybody Ive seen ever.His staff is excellent also.
