This PA wasn’t my provider and didn’t treat me. He called to go over my labs, started by mispronouncing my name, and brushed off my correction. When I explained a prior discussion with my actual provider, he insisted it wasn’t in the notes, essentially invalidating my concerns. I was trying to understand why I’d start treatment before all test results were back, especially if antibiotics were causing my issue, but he was dismissive. He told me it was “on me” to decide about treatment and later wrote in my chart that I was “rude and argumentative,” though I remained calm. I was simply frustrated, repeating myself to clarify my concerns over a chronic issue. It felt like he saw me as a task rather than a person needing care. Why enter the medical field if you treat patients like robots? The call left me feeling unheard and was entirely unprofessional.

My experience was amazing! Michael answered all my questions thoughtfully and took the time to make sure I was cared for. Would recommend in a heartbeat!

I have had type 1 diabetes for 30 years with many endo's. Michael is wonderful. He listens to me as a patient and makes wonderful suggestions knowing it is my body we are working with. He is helpful and very easy going to be around. No stress at all and it was always very different and uncomfortable with all my others Endo's. I have and will recommend him to anyone.

Twice in a short time he has disagreed with the ADA & manufacturer of my insulin!! Who do you think would know more and better?
