Lacks insight. Provides very little guidance and direction. Just sits there and listens. Long awkward periods of silence. Often feels like talking to oneself.

I have been working with Michael for over 10 years, first as my therapist through some hard times and now as my (remote) spiritual director as I embark on the path of Chaplaincy (Buddhist) training but now live in another state. He is amazing. In our sessions, he tends to draw just one or maybe two fruits for me to consider, often in the form of a question, that helps me to have a focus between sessions. Wonderful human being, wonderful and compassionate listener.
