I am genuinely astonished
I've been trying to get an accommodations letter from her for like a month now. Barely any communication at all, and 15 days ago she quietly slipped the letter into my medical records. Why would I have checked the medical records? Now I'm failing two classes. It would've been nice to know the letter was available but there was never any communication and it felt like pulling teeth trying to get any sort of update back. She uploaded it before midterms so that would've been super helpful to know.Anyway, today we had an appointment. I thought it was Telehealth but it was an in person appointment. I told her I'd be on my way and she left me on read! When I get over there the receptionist said she told her to tell me to reschedule. So she can talk to the receptionist, but not me? Anyway, if I hadn't talked to the receptionist I wouldn't have known about the letter at all. 6 weeks in is a little late and it could've been 4 weeks if she'd told me. Switching psychiatrists now.

Awful - should not be in this profession
Had an unbelievable experience. This woman HUNG UP on me during a video visit. She was unprofessional and blase’ from the start. Hardly looked at me. No bedside manner whatsoever. It could not be clearer that this woman did not care AT ALL about anything I was telling her. I felt like I was dealing with someone at the DMV. She accused me of “med shopping” because I wanted a refill of my anxiety medication, which is ridiculous. I don’t drink at all, nor do I do recreational drugs, and I definitely don’t abuse my anxiety meds. I take my anxiety meds once every few days, only when it gets so bad I can’t function. She avoided answering my questions. She was rude and way too laid back. She started shrugging and cutting me off, and ranting. She got louder and louder. I calmly told her she had been very unprofessional and rude. She sarcastically said “okay” and hung up in my face. I can’t believe she is employed as someone who is supposed to offer help to people who are struggling.
