Waste of time
Scheduled an appt 2 weeks in advance, a week before a representative called to confirm details and to let me know about the expected time of arrival. Today, the day of my appt which is in 45 minutes they called me first to tell me they don’t accept tri care which is not something that I even have. They then stated they would ask the NP and call me back. When they returned my call, they said they had the wrong information the first time and that it was actually that they didn’t “accept transfer of care” from my previous provider which I haven’t even seen in a year due to them moving away from the city. Ridiculous as they could’ve let me know this when they called to confirm my appt the first time they called a week ago and not the day of my appt. What a waste of time. Find a better provider and save yourself the headache and your time.

Waste of Time
I felt like she did not listen to my problems and concerns. She just sent a bunch of referrals instead of discussing my medical concerns. I was also told to show up 45 minutes early to the appointment to complete new patient paperwork. The paperwork only took 15 mins. I ended waiting in the waiting room for an hour and a half until I got called back. While the MA was rooming me, the provider interrupted her and began her assessment without allowing the MA to finish. As someone that is an experienced MA, I find that very rude. The office still asks COVID-19 question like it is March 2020.

I was new to utilizing off base Dr's due to my 65th birthday and not being able to use TriCare as my primary insurance. I was leary and new to Medicare, she made me feel at ease, as I described my health issue. She listened tentatively, and asked questions to understand the medical condition. She ordered xrays right away, and scheduled me for a follow-up.

Having a virtual visit is good as long as the patient doesn't have a medical emergency. If the patient has a BP monitor, a thermometer, weight scale at home helps. Checking in on elderly patients and home bound patients would help tremendously if these type of virtual visits can continue with the insurance companies. This would help doctor visits that require hands-on to be seen quickly and separate the wellness visits from the major extreme. I was pleased with Michelle Gamio and with the virtual visit.

Ms. Gamio listens carefully and then gives an explanation of her decision, to treat with certain meds and why. She treats me (83 yrs old) with kindness and much respect, and that I am important to her. I walk out of her office looking forward to being healed both physically and emotionally. ^j^

I have been seeing Michelle Gamio for a number of years as my Primary for any issues and my annual physical. Over the years, a few things have come up and she has always immediately either taken care of the problem or referred me to the appropriate provider (ie, Cardiologist), also she is astute at recommending other providers that are not critical or severe in nature - in my case, a Dermatologist for just a routine check.....could not ask for a better provider for my medical needs.

My appointment was at 8:30 and i got their both times before that and they still turned me down. Mind you I'm disabled with a brain injury. They do not seem like good Dr's so i guess God did not want me to go there anyway. Ill pray for this heartless practice.
