Insisted on testing for STDs because of my age even though the only person I’m with is my husband and I said it wasn’t necessary. When I went in another time for extreme cramping that I couldn’t help with OTC medication, she refused to prescribe anything and used a baby voice with me like she thought I was exaggerating and it felt extremely condescending. (Dr. James immediately prescribed me something when I told him and turned out it was from fibroids)

I’ve been seeing Michelle Sorrell for years now and she has always been the absolute best! Never fails to give me 100% of her attention when she’s with me and she is always concerned about whatever I need to discuss. Michelle has never made me feel like my questions or concerns were not valid ones. I would highly recommend her and this office!!!!

Office staff are wonderful & easy to work with. Michelle Sorrell takes the time to go over health concerns and knows my family history to assist in the right treatment. I come in from Lexington to see her. Awesome staff.

The one star reviews didn't see the same doctor that I did. The doctor that I saw was empathetic and wholesome and so absolutely concerned for me. This was my first visit to gynecology and the experience was so positive and validating that I felt like I was seeing a worried friend. I'm fully confident in her ability to care for me and I believe her treatment plan was the absolute best course of action for me. I'm confident that under her care that I no longer have to live my life in pain and inactivity. I can't emphasize enough just how sweet this woman is or how loved and cared for I felt sitting on that bed. I felt like she truly saw me and understood me, and validated everything I said and took my concerns seriously. That is something that every person with a vagina deserves.

Everyone in the office was friendly except her. She was very unprofessional. I tried expressing concerns of maybe having PCOS and refused to take me seriously and just tried to put me on birth control. No tests to check or anything.

Do not attend this facility. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful to her young female clients. Sl*t shaming has no place in a doctors office.

I have never had an unpleasant visit at this office. Everyone is friendly and very accommodating. Michelle Sorrell and the nurses are the absolute best! I am so happy you are still here. Women's Care is hands down the best, overall, physicians group in the area. Thank you so much for the phenomenal care you provide.
