Telehealth
I saw Mikaela for about 3 months. In that time, I got zero skills, resources or tools to manage anxiety, depression and trauma. I was left dysregulated, crying and near panic attacks at end of sessions with absolutely nothing for me to work on or seek out for help. I was asked to give specifics of my trauma by the third visit and was only being seen twice monthly. I began to have increased panic attacks, flash backs and worsened anxiety and depression. After I stopped seeing her, I took a break and found a new therapist. Night and day difference. I cannot believe how poorly equipped I was under her care to manage ANY of my issues. Within two months of WEEKLY visits with my new therapist, I have countless, useful skills and have really been able to manage my anxiety and negative thoughts. After nearly 2.5 months together, we are just about to start trauma work. Unlike Mikaela who dug it out of me and left me with nothing.
