Mishele Walker, LPC

I found Mishele Walker lpc has difficulty professional communicating. She fixates on matters that comes off as probing and does not ask whether she can inquire on a difficult subject matter. She's sarcastic and passive-aggressive and makes you feel you are a burden for being there. I found her judgmental. I do not trust Mishele Walker.

I was highly disappointed working with Mishele Walker. She claimed to be using EMDR but that was not my experience. She also never explained all the protocols for EMDR, which shows competency and good practice. She also has poor understanding of cultural competency and cultural sensitivity. I had a repeat experience where she made assumptions. That was unprofessional. It lacked empathy and compassion. I found her to whitewash my experiences without lending space to understanding.

Mishele Walker is the best Therapist i have ever seen, and I've been seen by quite a few over the years to treat my PTSD and bipolar disorder. The EMDR therapy has been invaluable to me. It has made a HUGE difference in my life and in letting go of past traumas that were holding me back in leading a more healthy and productive life. I can not say enough about EMDR or about Mishele Walker. She is caring, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about mental illness. I HIGHLY recommend her services.
