Mowita Kensinger, PA-C

My first interaction with Mowita was when I was in the ER for pain from an ovarian cyst. She came to do the Ultrasound that diagnosed the cyst. At that time, I was given prescription pain meds, and told to 'deal with it' and it wasn't an emergency. Both by Mowita and the ER doctor. When I returned to the ER and to the women's health clinic, I was once again sent away. Leading to two years of pain, frustration, and distrust for the medical industry. When I again attempted to do something about it with a different doctor, they found MORE cysts, well beyond the size to warrant removal (as the cyst Mowita found was). They immediately looked into further action, and sent me for diagnostics and eventually surgery. I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Mowita had treated me with the same seriousness and compassion as my current doctor, if my anxiety and pain hadn't been reduced to 'take ibuprophen'.
