I had a colon hydrotherapy done, my very first experience ever and it was absolutely pleasant. Dr. Aton was definitely warm, genuine and comforting which added support and calmness for being my first time. I felt safe and secure. She was holistically full of care, and authentic appreciate for my presence. The whole experience and duration of the therapy was healing for me. The rest of the day, I was so full of energy in such a positive way, and i know its due to the therapy having a cleansing affect especially in terms of toxins and stagnant particles in my colon. I am thankful and grateful I have a safe place to go for my health needs.

It is my opinion, as a former client, that Dr. Aton is not qualified to be in any sort of medical practice working with clients. Cold, affective, judgmental, condescending, argumentative bedside manner. Shows NO actual medical expertise or knowledge whatsoever. Completely ignores actual medical issues of clients and instead blames everything on body weight. Fat shaming is a major issue here. Dr. Aton also promotes an eating disordered approach to food rather than developing a healthy relationship with food that supports healing from any of the health conditions that are causing any excess weight in the first place. Her approach was to blame everything on being fat, while ignoring all actual health issues. She freely admits that food intake analysis and cannabis are her only solutions, and if you are not interested in either of those, there's not much she can do for you. I contacted some friends in my community and found out that others have had similar experiences with her.

Horrible experience! I described my menopausal symptoms and she said that menopause was a normal transition and symptoms are part of it. Chronic poor sleep is one symptom which I want to address because it leads to other health problems. I mentioned that my adrenals and thyroid are out of balance so fixing my sleep is key. She asked how I know. I mentioned lab tests and symptoms and was candid that I've been working with another ND. A rare condition contra-indicates biohormones and the ND doesn't know what else to do. I'm ok with that but the adrenal and thyroid need to be addressed. Her reply was that lab tests are not always accurate. This brought us back to symptoms to which her reply was "how do you know that's the cause" - so not matter what I said, she challenged me. Then she stated "you seem defensive." Uh...yeah...because you keep challenging me. Then she just stood up and opened the door and said that we couldn't work together. This is patient care?!?
