Dr. Nancy Baird, PSY

I have been seeing Nancy Baird for 7 years and she has always been kind and genuinely cares about my well-being. I look forward to my appointments because she is so compassionate and insightful. She has helped me so much. I can always hear her voice in my head saying, “Call me if you need me!”

I was asked to go into see the Dr almost the minute I got there. I Felt at ease when I met with Dr. Baird. She was as professional as she was friendly--she immediately made me feel comfortable as this was the first time I had sought out this kind of professional help --I wasn' t disappointed. She patiently waited for my response to her questions and helped me to understand my condition and what course I could take to make the improvements I was seeking in my life. Looking forward to my next visit with her --at my convenience, to continue her guidance on the right path I should take.

I've had a couple meetings with Dr Baird and I will not be going back. She to me seems like she's just sitting across from you while watching the clock behind you tick tick til your hour is up. While I understand she has other patients but she stands up right in the middle of what your saying, walks to her desk and asks the next time you want to schedule. Not well that's all the time we had for today...plus she cut off 5 min early~! First visit she wrote stuff down. Next visit didn't even have previous notes, nothing but her hands in her lap. Didn't offer any suggestions or ask any questions. I asked her for her opinion and she told me what I should do. That's great except I've already done that and told her that in our first meeting. While I also understand she doesn't know me yet, that's why you ask questions and write stuff down as It had to do with medication, I would have thought she had written that down? I'm not impressed. I don't feel her care is genuine. Nice lady I may add.

Dr. Baird is very helpful, compassionate, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend her.
