Dr. Nancy Bonetto, OD

I felt like I had excellent care, from the very start. The support staff as well as Dr. Bonetto were so thorough in looking over every aspect of my eye health. They asked so many questions and really sought to understand my vision needs. I left with exactly what I hoped for and the confidence to move forward knowing I’m not falling through the cracks with my eye health. Seriously the best eye exam experience I’ve ever had.

I saw Dr. Benetto over 3 weeks ago. After my exam I realized I hadn’t received a renewed prescription for my glasses. I called and asked for it and the tech called me back and said that I had such minor need for glasses I should just buy them over the counter. I said that I preferred to use my prescription. I didn’t hear back so I went to an optometrist office and showed them a recently expired prescription from a previous doctor at Bend Opthamology. I was hoping they would have better luck getting it renewed, so they faxed my previous Rx to Dr. Benetto. Still no luck. I called again and they repeated that I should just get OTC glasses. I explained that the quality of OTC wasn’t as good and I have insurance to cover the cost of prescription glasses that I would like to use. Still no response. I have no idea why this is so hard for them to do but I’m going to find a new doctor that I don’t have to beg to obtain my prescription.
