Nancy Duffee, LPC

Nancy did nothing to help our marriage. She sat us down for 4 sessions together, and listened to us. She gave no recommendations, no homework, no plan on how to reconnect. After the 4 sessions she sat us down and said “well what do you want to do?” Asked if we wanted to move ahead with divorce. My husband & I were in the beginning of a journey of trying to reconnect and she literally did nothing. I had to ask for advice, ask her “shouldn’t we go on dates or something? Try to spend time together?” She agreed that was a good idea… I begged her to tell us how to work on our marriage. Nothing. Next she decided my husband was depressed and needed solo sessions. Which apparently meant the end of our marriage counseling. Now all I hear is how she said this or that about me.. ME. How would she know? She kicked me out of our counseling! That I am my husband’s depression. So basically go to her if you want a divorce. Otherwise go to someone who will actually give you ways to work on it.
