Nancy Mattioli, NP

Sharp forced me to see her for my first pregnancy , she did 2 ultrasounds and missed a huge fibroid in my cavity which caused miscarriage for me. I got pregnant again and was worry to see her again and went to ER and Dr was shocked that she missed such a huge fibroid in cavity. She does not have enough knowledge to care for pregnancy and she is causing lots of unnecessary pain with her lack of qualification.

I met with Nancy once to discuss a recurring yeast infection that only started at 28 years old. She basically told me that "some people get colds frequently, some people have allergies, and some people just have yeast infections." She prescribed me fluconazole, like everyone else. I tried to follow up and sent my concerns that the fluconazole wasn't working over the Sharp messaging system. She told me "I'm unsure I can help you" verbatim. She didn't offer to refer me.

I've had 2 experiences with Nancy now, both horrible, and would not recommend her to anyone. My first experience with her was with my first pregnancy. She was cold, didn't give any information, and wasn't pleasant at a very exciting time for many women. The second time there were several red flags that I was going to miscarry and she was unable to be direct with me and instead assured me nothing was wrong. She couldn't have avoided the miscarriage but should have been able to talk to be about it

Nancy Mattioli seemed knowledgable about obstetrics, but she spent more time instructing me on how to get into the Sharp system rather than on issues of gynecology. She stressed me out about the pain of potential procedures I am not ready to have (she basically told me that getting my IUD out would be a nightmare-- I would have preferred she said we have excellent doctors who will take care of you no matter what. Instead she raised her eyebrows and struck the fear of G-d into me.
