Absolutely abysmal. She is always in a bad mood. She is extremely negative & very hard to talk to. She does not have your best interest at heart. She was careless, extremely unprofessional & untrustworthy. She violated HIPPA Laws at her previous place of employment at ALLINA by listening to my mentally I’ll mother who called her & manipulated her into believing my meds were causing all kinds of problems etc. little did she know, my mother was verbally & emotionally abusive. Caused problems for everyone. She was diagnosed with Narcissism & BPD. She HATED mental health workers so much cuz of what they said to her. She was desperate for me to not reveal how terrible of a mother and person she was and this so-called NP Psychiatrist believed her. She yelled at me in her clinic accusing me of all kinds of things. I was embarrassed & everyone was staring at me when I left. I found out the next day, she no longer worked there. I am still in shock over how unprofessional she was & this happened 5 years ago. I am beginning to file a lawsuit against ALLINA as I am traumatized. I need psychological help but she and another Psychiatrist, D. Patricia Steffen made notes in my chart so that no one would treat me again. Dr. Steffen actually said that to my face. I consider suicide often & will no longer see a Dr for anything as I fear this horrible treatment again. I didn’t know a Dr could be so senseless, carless & unprofessional until now. I am shocked & have been angry everyday since then. This is the very Dr who talked me into Klonopin about 18 years ago and then turns around & punishes me for it. I was cut off abruptly after 18 years with zero help. I could’ve easily died. I can’t bare to hear of this happening to anyone else although I’m sure it has or it soon will. This is how bad and dangerous this Dr is.
