Dr. Klein was professional and personable. I had several questions about related and unrelated skin issues & he took the time to answer all of them to my satisfaction. He is very knowledgeable in this area and explained what to expect following the procedure.

Our first mistake was not investigating who was going to examine us, (that is on us) it turned out to be a nurse and not a dermatologist, which was what we asked for the appointment Nurses are very good at what they do, helping specialists, so are the anesthetists, oncologists, cardiologists and in this case, the dermatologist. I think each one in their own specialty. His attitude, not communicative at all, the feeling my wife and I get from him, was we were more of a business rather than a medical consultation. He just mark my face, mi back, my chest and my leg, he said, we are going to take samples, that was it, no explanation why or what he had found. Ones he was done, he just left, it seemed to me that he was in a hurry. All questions and directions I had to ask his assistant, who was very friendly and communicative, the assistant who attended my wife was quite the opposite. Not a good experience.

This was my first time having a full body exam. I was nervous at first but Nathan and his assistant made me feel very comfortable. I was concerned about one mole that I had but Nathan ended up finding 4 moles that needed biopsied. I am so grateful that he was so thorough because one of the moles came back abnormal and needed surgery. This wasn't even the mole that I had been concerned about. When I had my surgery, I wasn't nervous at all because I had such a great experience the day of my exam. My surgery went quick and I am so happy that I went to Affiliated Dermatology and was given an appointment with Nathan. I appreciate everyone at Affiliated Dermatology!

Nathan and a medical assistant performed a full-body exam for me, which is an annual event. I've only lived in AZ full-time for a couple of years and became a patient at Affiliated Dermatology at that time. I found him to be thorough, communicative, and patient with me as I questioned what he was doing. He found things that needed to be treated, and others that needed to be biopsied. Everything he did in the time we were together was professional and thorough. I appreciated his candor and his optimism about my condition. He made what could be a stressful event much more tolerable.
