Nicole Schultz, PA-C

My experience with Nicole Schultz was fine. My complaint is with the office and billing. I was x-rayed and diagnosed with a fracture in my right hand at an urgent care. They referred me to Bone and Joint Specialists of Winchester. I was seen, my existing x-ray reviewed and given a splint. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. I was charged nearly $800. Something like $200 of that was the splint, which is available at Walmart for $15. A few hundred was charged for looking at the previous x-ray. The outrageous cost of the visit and consult is further angering when my hand did not heal well, as suggested it should with the splint. I guess the moral is to question how much any additional 'equipment' will be when provided at the office and see whether it might be available elsewhere. I have unfortunately been to many medical specialists as I grow older. The amount of the total bill from this facility was somewhat shocking, even for specialists.

Caring, professional, personal. Great PA. Should consider advancing her career. Good people skills, I might add.
