Nikki Nakovic, NP

Nikki was the worst representation of what healthcare in America, or anywhere else really, should be. Rushed , dismissive and pretty much deaf to anything I said. She swirled into the exam room, carried on an unintelligible monologue facing away from me for about 8 minutes, then came to a premature and uninformed conclusion about my health before refilling an incorrect dose on one of my ongoing medications and then swirling back out never to be seen again. Literally, as per the rest of the staff, she was nowhere to be found to correct the medication dose error and was believed to have left for the day at 10 AM (the clinic had opened at 9:30). I can’t imagine having gone through the extensive education and preparation required to be a healthcare provider to then end up providing this mediocre level of care to the community you serve. What a waste and shame.

NP Nikki Nakovic is a glaring example of the shortcomings receiving care at El Rio. She kept talking over me while I was explaining my visit never even taking the time to listen to my needs as a patient of hers. She charged me over $200 for a service I did not give consent to receive and she gave the wrong information to the lab when I needed my blood work done, causing me to wait even longer. Her ethics and ability to operate in a medical field seem compromised. Totally rude too.

NP was very unprofessional and rude, I stated my issues with a new medication I recently started however she said I have no recommendation. I asked to see if I could do some labs to see if my blood work is normal. She stated she didn't think it would help. I would highly recommend everyone to not been seen by this NP. And wish she had more education before practicing and better communication skills.
