horrible doctor. no attention. no bedside manner. just horrible.

I am seeing some excellent reviews and positive reviews. I am not sure I would have seen her had I seen some of the negative reviews. Thankfully, I had an AMAZING experience and actually took the initiative to leave a review for her to thank her for how much time she spent with me, how detailed and thorough she was. While the ladies at the front did offer me the eye imaging for an additional charge, the did not say it was required and they had no problem doing the dilation and checking my eyes and I paid nothing out of pocket. It was an amazing experience and she really helped me understand what has been happening to my vision and what the next steps were for me in my treatment. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

I am always impressed with Dr. Zuniga and her staff's professional & friendly attitudes. Her new Avalon/Alpharetta office has all the latest testing equipment; not your average optometrist office. Our grandson, also see's Dr. Zuniga, he is blind in one eye, since birth. She always takes great care to go into every detail when diagnosing him, and when talking to him. She is great with children. Our entire family uses her with confidence.

Dr. Zuniga is a wonderful eye doctor and has an excellent bedside manner. Our family will follow her where ever she practices.

Poor doctor. No attention to detail. Sells you on (optional) imaging and refuses to do a dilation if you don't get imaging. The accuses you of not being prepared if you don't agree to imaging. Did not discuss any test results with me. Did not ask me about my vision or any concerns regarding it. HORRIBLE. No concern. Get you in, get you out. Only plus, was the staff is wonderful. The doctor is the worst I've experienced BY FAR. Checked with others, and they also received the same imaging spiel.

Overall, my experience was rushed. Dr. Zuniga had a lot of patients and I felt like I did not get the proper attention needed. I was given medication that made my eye condition worse and had to pay out of pocket since insurance was not accepted. None of this was explained beforehand. I had to pay these outrageous fees and for my follow up visits because I was not properly taken care of the first time. It could be that Dr. Zuniga just had a bad day but being rushed does not justify rudeness.
