MY SESSIONS WITH DR. RICE
Telehealth
DR. RICE IS A VERY CARING & PATIENT THERAPIST. SHE TAKES TIME TO LISTEN TO YOUR CONCERNS. I REALLY ENJOY THE THERAPY CARD INTERACTIONS WITH HER. IT GIVES ME AN OPPORTUNITY TO THINK CLEARLY & OUTSIDE THE BOX. IT HAS BEEN A VERY HELPFUL TOOL DURING MY SESSIONS. DR. RICE HAS BEEN A GOD SEND. I HAVE BEEN FULLY ENGAGED IN THE PROCESS WITH HER. ALTHOUGH I AM STILL A WORK IN PROGRESS, HER PATIENCE, PROFESSIONALISM, UNDERSTANDING, & KINDNESS HAS REALLY BEEN APPRECIATED AS I CONTINUE TO HEAL.

A very nice therapist
This was my first time having therapy. It was an experience that I did not want to go through but I decided to take on. At the beginning it was a little rough with 2 out of the 10 sessions because she fell asleep in front of me and dozed of. Once, I address the matter she got better and I would definitely recommend her to other clients. I gave her a 4 out of star's due to not staying alert sone times. Dr. Rice isn't a bad therapist she just need proper rest and we all do from time to tine. Nevertheless, she has helped me along the way in many areas. Thank you,Dr. Pamela Rice

I’ve never felt more insignificant
This was my first experience with therapy, and what I’d hoped to be the beginning of a fresh start for me. Coming around to therapy was a challenge in itself. Our fire session where i got to dive into some core issues, she fell asleep numerous times. To the extent her neck was violently jerking back. I felt so unimportant and unheard. Here i am seeking professional help, and the professional is falling asleep. In our initial session, she was dozing towards the end of it, but i decided to ignore my gut and brush it off. I should have never returned. When i confronted her about her drowsiness, she made an excuse of being up late waiting for repair work on her office property, which is no excuse. We could have rescheduled easily . As I’ve scrolled through reviews, this seems to be a common trend. I filed a complaint with my insurance company and i would never recommend her. If she cannot be attentive to her clients, she should no longer be practicing

Dr. Rice fell asleep in my face.
What stood out the most was the fact that she fell asleep in my face while I was talking. She didn’t look drowsy, she literally had her eyes closed, head nodded down and quickly picked back up. She opened her eyes and looked confused and replied with some generic prodding response. Mind you, this is my first time seeing a therapist. Every appointment before this one, she would have her eyes closed at times and again woke up looking confused and replied the same way, but I didn’t know if something was wrong with her or if she was sleeping. Last appointment, I knew for sure… she was dozing off. I mean these sleeping reviews go back to 2017. Also the office is super messy with mountains of paperwork covering her desk, humid, feels like no a/c is on (it’s like 90 some degrees outside). Nothing personal to the lady but maybe it’s time to retire. Just not a good experience at all, wouldn’t recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Pamela Rice consistently for close to eight months now and I have not had any negative experiences with her. I felt very comfortable with her from our first session, which says a lot about her, because I don’t open up to people easily at all, even in this capacity. She is very kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional in all of our sessions. She is very positive; yet, very real at the same time. She is patient and makes me feel as if I truly do matter. Dr. Rice has helped me tremendously with my issues in our sessions and I love and appreciate the recommendations she gives to assist me outside of our sessions. What I also like about her is that she is very humble; she never comes across as judgmental (I have had to deal with that in the past). I have recommended people to see her and will continue to do so if need be. I am grateful that I was able to find her to help me work through my problems.

I have been seeing Dr. Rice regularly for the last 9 months and throughout the entire experience she has been completely professional, kind-hearted and knowledgeable. Rice has helped me begin to overcome my persistent panic attacks and helped talk me through gaining the skills I needed to build healthier relationships in my life. I would recommend Dr. Rice to all of my friends and family and definitely keep her in mind if I ever need to return.

She was an absolute gem and did great with pediatrics. As a parent, I trusted her and she even gave sound advice to my son on why parents do what they do, benefiting the child in the long run. For the negative comments, I can attest I had a much different experience. My son was facing many changes in his life and this assisted. Including parental remarriage and moving.

Pamela Rice wasted the first 45 minutes of our time doing my intake forms, she wouldn't let me fill them out myself and did not request that I come early to complete them. She then proceeded to to recite the hippa laws to me. She asked for unnecessary information such as my roommates' names and ages and my religion. No one looking for psychological help should have to suffer through this or should be given the impression that this is what proper therapy looks like
