Pam helped me out of a 3 year depression period. I am now playing 2-3 rounds of golf weekly, going out to restaurants and agreed to a three year stint as a deacon in our church

She is a very sweet and kind person. She really cares about her patients and has helped me a lot. She is an extremely hard worker and constantly battling insurance companies so that patients can get the therapy they need. I'm glad she has the fortitude to open star behavioral health because I believe it really is needed and can keep people out of the hospital and from making bad decisions.

Pamela Ruppel will do all she can to help you feel well and be able to enjoy your life. She is the best psychiatric care provider I have seen out of dozens over the years. She’s patient, kind, caring and genuinely concerned. She wants people to live their best life. Pamela is a dedicated medical health care professional with a wonderful support staff. She specializes in working with people with treatment resistant depression and goes the extra mile to make sure you are helped. If you live in SWVA and need help with depression, Pamela is the person to see!!
