Patricia Garza, PA-C

My initial visit was pretty simplistic in my head. Pretty routine, but realized that I needed to share other issues with my health and wellness. I'm not sure why,but I had this feeling that it was right to share with her. I'm glad I did. Patricia was amazingly attentive, caring. Her professionalism was a breath for me. She gave me the guidance and advise I needed to improve my health and well being. It's always a great thing to feel like there's a legit connection with a provider and not feel like just a patient with a copay! Patricia did that for me and it was greatly appreciated. I found my primary care person!! No need to look any further. Thanks Patricia.

There is an overall lack of rapport and attention from the practice and with PA Garza. ONE of the reasons: I saw her with a gnawing gastric ulcer (extreme pain, unable to lay flat, melena in my stool). I don' take NSAIDs. I was taking an over the counter PPI to help with symptoms so she told me she was unable to do any tests. I asked her if it was possible to do any other test other than a breath test and she said there was no other option. She gave me two options, either stop taking the PPI and come back in two weeks to rule out h. pylori or continue to take the PPI if it is helping me. She did not attempt to emphasize a follow-up appointment was needed in order to rule out h. pylori. I called the office to find out how to get my medical records to my new provider. I told her I had the fax number to the new office and the front desk clerk was condescending and laughed saying she can't do that because it's the law. She could have been more professional in explaining the process.
